In Helsinki, a BMW driver engaged in reckless driving in front of a civil police car, prompting a pursuit that lasted more than ten kilometers along Ring Road I. The incident started at the Lahti highway junction and continued until the driver was stopped in Konala. At the point of the police car's maximum speed, it reached 117 kilometers per hour, yet it struggled to catch up with the suspect, who was driving in an area with a speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour.
