During a recent visit to Jaleaca de Catalán, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda of Guerrero announced a significant investment exceeding 97 million pesos aimed at enhancing infrastructure in the Sierra de Chilpancingo. This funding will support essential projects in connectivity, potable water, educational infrastructure, and social development, addressing longstanding historical deficits in the region. Governor Salgado instructed the State Commission for Potable Water, Sewage, and Drainage (CAPASEG) to develop executive projects across 28 mountainous communities.
