The Civil Police of Rio Claro (SP) conducted a significant operation on the morning of November 19, which resulted in the seizure of a Porsche and the arrest of a woman found with eight ampoules of the weight-loss drug Mounjaro. This operation aimed to dismantle a complex criminal scheme involving online gambling, illegal trade of medications, and money laundering. The investigation revealed financial transactions exceeding R$ 13 million, which were inconsistent with the economic capacity of the individuals involved.

Further findings from the investigation unveiled that the criminal group was utilizing social media profiles to promote online betting platforms, including one known as the 'tigrinho game.' They lured followers with promises of easy profits, coupled with displays of a luxurious lifestyle and fabricated positive outcomes. The operation highlights the rising trend of illegal online gambling activities in Brazil and the tactics used by criminals to attract unsuspecting individuals seeking quick financial gains.

Additionally, the Civil Police identified that the group was illegally selling controlled medications, specifically weight-loss pens, without proper legal authorization.
