Despite being rushed to the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries and did not survive.

Born in Brazilândia to a homemaker and a mechanical turner, Fernanda Santos built her career through hard work and perseverance. She graduated in journalism from Unesp in Bauru in 1998 and worked at fixing ATMs before joining TV Globo in 2005.
