Vassouras Museum opens registrations for educator training project with Beatriz Milhazes
The Vassouras Museum in Brazil is launching a training project for educators featuring artist Beatriz Milhazes, focusing on contemporary art's impact on education.
The Vassouras Museum has announced the opening of registrations for a unique training project aimed at educators, led by renowned artist Beatriz Milhazes. This initiative will immerse participants in the artistic universe of Milhazes, who is currently featured in the museum's exhibition 'Chegança.' The program seeks to explore how colors, shapes, and compositions can inspire innovative perspectives on teaching and learning in educational settings.
Participants will engage directly with Milhazes' creative process and participate in discussions on how contemporary art can foster more sensitive and imaginative educational experiences. The project will include a film screening titled 'Architectural Color' and a personal encounter with the artist, providing valuable insights into her work and methods.
The training sessions are scheduled for April 1st and June and will take place in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Vassouras Museum, located in the historical center of Vassouras. This project not only enriches the educational landscape but also aims to bridge contemporary art with practical teaching approaches, highlighting the relevance of artistic expression in today's educational framework.
