In the final event of the biathlon World Cup season held in Oslo, Swedish athlete Hanna Öberg emerged victorious in the women's 7.5 km sprint. Completing the race with a perfect shooting performance, Öberg finished with a time of 20:20.4, marking her third win of the season, all of which have come in sprint events. She confidently maintained a lead, finishing 5.3 seconds ahead of the second-place competitor, Italy's Lisa Vittozzi, while her younger sister, Elvira Öberg, claimed the third spot.

The race featured strong performances from several competitors, with French athlete Julia Simon and Norway's Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold also placing well in the top six. Simon, who had one missed shot, finished in fourth, while Tandrevold, with a similar scoring, landed in fifth place. The overall leader of the World Cup series, French biathlete Lou Jeanmonnot, rounded out the top six, showcasing the competitive nature of this season's sprint events.

From Estonia, only Regina Ermits qualified for the upcoming pursuit race, securing a 42nd place finish after one missed shot. Other Estonian competitors, such as Susan Külm, Johanna Talihärm, and Kretel Kaljumäe, finished lower down the rankings, reflecting the challenges faced by the team in this final sprint of the season. Overall, Öberg's performance solidifies her position as a dominant force in this year's sprint competition.
