The Civil Police of Brazil reported the recovery of roughly two tons of stolen agricultural pesticides, which were taken by a gang during a robbery at a rural property in Campo Florido, in the Triângulo Mineiro region. This incident transpired in October 2025, when armed assailants invaded the farm, holding the farm workers hostage while they made off with approximately R$ 70,000 worth of pesticides. Investigations led by the Uberaba Rural Police Station, with assistance from the Frutal Police Station, helped identify the perpetrators of this crime.

An operation was carried out in Fronteira on the morning of Thursday, the 19th, where one man was arrested in flagrant for drug trafficking. The police action involved 15 civil officers who executed search and seizure warrants issued by the Justice. Besides the return of the stolen pesticides, the authorities also confiscated 40 liters of agricultural product, equipment including two machinery monitors, and a mobile phone. This comprehensive operation underscores the diligence of law enforcement in addressing agricultural crime and ensuring the safety of local farmers.
