Linnanahde expressed confusion over how the nodule developed, revealing that he does not engage in any activities that typically predispose individuals to such issues.

In his Instagram update, he mentioned that he received messages from listeners who noticed his hoarse voice, which ultimately led him to seek medical advice. He acknowledged that he had also noticed the change himself but had been hesitant to act until prompted by one concerned listener's message. After the surgery, Linnanahde announced that he would be on vocal rest for the weekend and would not return to the studio until after Easter.
