Authorities are seeking witnesses after a suspected arson in a residential building in Unterschleißheim caused significant damage but resulted in no injuries.
A suspected arson in a residential building on Südliche Ingolstädter Straße in Unterschleißheim has resulted in damage amounting to several tens of thousands of euros, though fortunately, no injuries were reported. The fire was discovered by a 53-year-old woman who was on her way to work at around 5:30 AM. Reports indicate that the building, which is currently undergoing renovations, was the scene of a rapid response by the fire department, preventing further damage.
Investigation details reveal that there were indications of arson at the scene of the fire. Additionally, authorities learned that there was a previous attempted arson at the same location on March 10, which had not been reported. This history of suspicious activity raises concerns about the safety of the area and the need for community vigilance.
The police are urging locals in the vicinity of Südliche Ingolstädter Straße, Sportplatzstraße, Buchenstraße, and Weidenweg to come forward with any information they may have regarding suspicious behavior or observations during the relevant time frame.
