Man arrested suspected of attacking duo with stabbings and brick blows, filming crime and posting on social media; one victim died

Aquiles Ferreira da Silva, an 18-year-old, was apprehended by the Civil Police in ItapoΓ£, Federal District, on Wednesday afternoon. He faces charges of homicide and attempted homicide for the violent assault on two men earlier in the year. The assault reportedly involved 53 stab wounds to one victim, Pedro Henrique Rocha Soares, who died at the scene, while the other victim, Rodrigo Carvalho Melo de AraΓΊjo, was injured but managed to survive. Disturbingly, Ferreira da Silva and three accomplices, all juveniles, filmed the entire incident and shared it on social media, showcasing a troubling aspect of youth violence and the desensitization to violence in contemporary society.
