The Sociedade Teatral de Fazenda Nova has unveiled a new video that gives a glimpse into a previously unseen scene from the 2026 'Passion of Christ' performance in Nova Jerusalém. This reveal comes as part of the 57th iteration of the 'Passion of Christ', which is known as the largest open-air theatrical production globally, attracting audiences from across the region.
Scheduled to take place from March 28 to April 4 in the theater town of Nova Jerusalém, located in Brejo da Madre de Deus, roughly 180 kilometers from Recife, this long-established tradition continues to adapt and evolve. With the use of contemporary visual effects, the production not only maintains its cultural significance but also draws in new audiences, ensuring its relevance in the current theatrical landscape.
