Sergio Fabian Schneider, a lawyer arrested for the alleged murder of his wife Sara Bianca Moyses Fabian Schneider, claimed that he shot her with a shotgun to prevent her from taking their daughter and moving to another state. The incident, classified as femicide, occurred in their home in São Lourenço do Oeste, Santa Catarina. The couple, married for seven years, had a troubled relationship, and during a fight shortly before the shooting, the wife expressed her desire to relocate to Paraná with their four-year-old daughter.
