Accident in Jonava District: ‘Audi’ Crashed into a Tree So Hard That Even the Engine Flew Out
An Audi A3 crashed into a tree in Jonava District, causing significant damage and leading to one injured person being taken to a medical facility.
On March 19, at 4:23 AM, police reported a dangerous leaning tree on the Old Kaunas road in Guldynai village, Jonava District. It was subsequently discovered that an Audi A3 had crashed into this tree, which was dangerously leaning over the roadway. A woman injured in the accident was taken to a medical facility before firefighters arrived on the scene, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
Firefighters proceeded to cut down the tree and clear the roadway, ensuring safe passage for other vehicles. They remained on-site until the tow truck arrived to assist in removing parts of the car that had come loose, including the engine that had dislodged from the vehicle upon impact. The cleanup also involved collecting various other car parts that had fallen, illustrating the severity of the crash.
Additionally, on March 18, another incident involving a vehicle crashing into a tree was recorded in Kaunas District, where a Mercedes-Benz had veered off the road and hit a tree. In this case, although smoke was reported, there were reportedly no signs of a fire or individuals trapped, indicating a less severe but still concerning incident involving road safety in the region.
