A man in Kanpur attacked his relative with acid due to suspicions of an affair with his wife, leading to serious injury and subsequent arrest.
In a shocking incident in Kanpur, a man named Gulfam attacked his relative Shahid with acid following suspicions of an illicit relationship between Shahid and Gulfam's wife. The attack took place on Wednesday in the Fikhla Patkatur area where Gulfam, armed with a blade and a bottle of acid, lured Shahid outside of his workshop under the pretense of a conversation. Upon exiting, Gulfam first assaulted Shahid with the blade and then proceeded to douse him with acid, resulting in severe injuries. Shahid managed to escape to seek help from local residents, who rushed him to the hospital.
