To manage this large crowd, the Seoul police plan to deploy approximately 6,729 officers, including 72 special task units, to prepare for any safety incidents and ensure orderly conduct. The area around Gwanghwamun will be segmented based on crowd density to manage entry and prevent hazardous items from being brought in.
