Both parents are also charged with neglecting their child, as they reportedly left him outside in subzero temperatures overnight with a notice left on the door.

The allegations include incidents where the father reportedly slammed the boy onto the floor and placed his foot on the child’s chest, as well as instances of hitting him in the face.
