In a stunning display of skill, Valmiera Glass/Vidzeme University claimed victory over Tallinna 'TalTech' in their first match of the quarterfinals in the Optibet Latvian-Estonian Basketball League (LIBL), finishing with a score of 105-80. The game, which took place on Wednesday, saw Valmiera take an early lead in the best-of-three series, making their mark with a 1-0 advantage. The match showcased strong performances from Valmiera's Verners Kohs, who scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds, alongside teammate Dominiks Steņonis, who contributed 18 points and delivered seven assists.
