Project offers free jazz classes for women in Boa Vista; see how to register
Free jazz classes are being offered to women in Boa Vista through a community center aimed at promoting well-being and self-esteem.
The Humanitarian Center for Women's Support (Chame) in Boa Vista, Brazil, is currently accepting free registrations for jazz classes specifically designed for women. Starting on the 20th of the month, classes will take place every Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the center's headquarters, providing an opportunity for women to engage in a physical activity that promotes movement, body expression, and overall well-being.
The initiative aims not only to teach dance but also to create a space for social integration and the enhancement of self-esteem among participants. Each class can accommodate approximately 25 women, and there is no deadline for registration, meaning that women can join at any time when a new group opens up.
Chame is associated with the Special Secretariat for Women at the Legislative Assembly of Roraima. Located on Santos Dumont Avenue, the center serves as a valuable community resource, encouraging women to express themselves through dance while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
