The City of Helsinki has decided to expedite the demolition of a notorious local structure referred to as the 'Pee Tower', located at Itäkeskus. According to Helsingin Sanomat, the condition of this site has been long acknowledged as unacceptable, drawing negative attention and complaints from citizens. Deputy Mayor Johanna Laisaari mentioned that she has personally experienced the poor conditions of the bridge that connects to the tower, echoing the sentiments of residents who have criticized its state.
