A car fell six meters from a highway in Hattula, resulting in injuries to three occupants, one critically, as authorities investigate the incident.

On Tuesday evening in Hattula, Finland, two serious car accidents occurred, one of which involved a car falling approximately six meters off the highway onto Rannikontie. The Hämeen police received an emergency call at around 7 PM reporting that a passenger vehicle had veered off from Highway 3, crashing down the embankment. The vehicle was traveling north when it lost control around a leftward curve, going off the right side of the road.

Upon leaving the roadway, the car struck a guardrail before tumbling down, resulting in serious injuries to all three individuals inside, including the approximately 40-year-old driver. Fortunately, emergency services arrived promptly, and the victims were transported to the hospital from the accident site, with one sustaining critical injuries.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident citing serious traffic safety violations, including potential charges for driving under the influence, drug-related offenses, and unsafe vehicle operation.
