Norway has announced its decision to allocate $200 million in budget support to Ukraine, aimed at bolstering the nation’s economy amid ongoing challenges stemming from Russia's invasion. This support will be funneled through the PEACE programme, which was initiated by the World Bank in response to the crisis that escalated following Russia's full-scale aggression in 2022. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko highlighted the critical nature of Norway's contribution, especially as Ukraine's economy struggles under the pressure of sustained attacks from Russia.
