In an interview, Pier Silvio Berlusconi, the group chairman and CEO of MFE MediaForEurope, addressed the negative repercussions of the ongoing war on the economy, emphasizing the challenges faced in his company. He noted that while the stock market reactions to the war were predicted, there are no significant warnings concerning the future of the company. With the first quarter of the year proving difficult in Italy, Germany, and Spain, Berlusconi expressed hope for a swift resolution to the conflict, citing early positive signals in March that offer some optimism.
Berlusconi also discussed MFE's growth strategies, highlighting the company's commitment to pragmatism and speed in response to changing market conditions. He outlined the successful identification of 25 common projects across Italy, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland that are expected to contribute to the company's revenue growth. Initially, a revenue forecast between 260 to 315 million euros was set at the project's launch, but the progress on synergy efforts has exceeded expectations, indicating a strong trajectory for the company despite external challenges.
Furthermore, Berlusconi referred to his invitation to popular entertainer Fiorello to contribute to the MFE programming and shared insights about management developments in Germany. He implied a contentious relationship with TV personality Fabrizio Corona, stating that the content associated with him is filled with negativity, reflecting a broader strategy focused on positivity and quality content in the media landscape.
