Can be up to 15 degrees: - Much to look forward to
Norway is expecting mild spring weather over the next few days, particularly in the southern region where temperatures could reach up to 15 degrees Celsius.
Norway's weather is set to improve significantly over the next few days, particularly for the southern parts of the country. Meteorologist Charalampos Sarchosidis from the Meteorological Institute has indicated that after several days of gray skies and fog, residents can look forward to a sunny Thursday with temperatures potentially rising to 14 to 15 degrees Celsius in the warmest areas. This shift to more pleasant weather comes as a welcome change, allowing people to remove their winter coats and enjoy the outdoors.
Friday and Saturday are also expected to bring nice weather, although some localized fog is anticipated during the night and morning hours. The sunny conditions are seen as a significant departure from the dreary weather experienced recently in southern and eastern Norway. However, the western and central parts of the country, including Trøndelag, may experience unstable weather with increasing cloud cover and rain, limiting the benefits of the sunshine seen in the south.
Furthermore, while many can look forward to a warmer and sunnier end to the week, caution is advised in northern Norway, where significant avalanche warnings have been issued. Additionally, an increase in grass and forest fire risks is expected as the weather warms, highlighting the need for vigilance as the region transitions from winter to spring.
