Accident between car and motorcycle leaves policeman injured in Barra Mansa
A military police officer was injured in an accident involving a car and a motorcycle in Barra Mansa, Brazil, on Tuesday night.
On Tuesday evening, a 33-year-old military police officer was injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Barra Mansa, Rio de Janeiro. The accident took place on Rua Major JosΓ© Bento in the Vila Nova neighborhood. The police reported that the officer had already been taken to Santa Casa for treatment when authorities arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to the military police, the officer was en route to a service when he collided head-on with a car. The impact of the crash was significant, causing the officer to be thrown from his motorcycle. Meanwhile, the driver of the car was also injured and was subsequently taken to the same hospital for treatment, where he was later discharged after receiving care.
After the incident, a forensic team was dispatched to the site to gather information that could assist in the investigation. Authorities are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash, and G1 is awaiting an update on the officer's health status from the medical unit that treated him.
