The families of Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and politician Priya Saroj are discussing their wedding plans, but no date has been set yet due to recent family circumstances.
There has been ongoing speculation about the wedding plans between Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj. Recently, Tufani Saroj, Priya's father and a sitting MLA from Uttar Pradesh, addressed the media to clarify the situation regarding the wedding date. He noted that, in light of the death of Rinku's father, both families have decided not to rush their wedding plans, allowing time to appropriately grieve and prepare for the union.
Tufani Saroj revealed that no wedding date has been finalized as of now. He mentioned that after some time has passed, both families will meet to discuss potential dates. Rinku’s family has the flexibility to choose when they want to set the date, and Tufani Saroj emphasized that his family is fully prepared for the marriage and is happy about the relationship between Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj.
With the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections scheduled for 2027, Tufani Saroj expressed a desire to hold the wedding in 2026 to celebrate the occasion before entering the hectic election season. However, he stressed that the final decision would be made with the consent of both families, taking into consideration the right timing for both sides.
