The Afreximbank Academy (AFRACAD) announced that registration is now open for its 2026 Certificate of Trade Finance in Africa (COTFIA). This programme aims to boost the continent's trade finance capacity by improving trade-related skills while addressing essential capacity gaps. Banking professionals and others interested in trade finance are invited to register for the course, which is positioned to help Africa compete more effectively in global markets. The registration will remain open until May 31, 2026.

AFRACAD's initiative is part of a collaborative effort with other educational and financial institutions, including Factors Chain International and the American University in Cairo. Notably, the curriculum also considers the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which is on course to significantly impact trade across the continent.
