Finnish artist Antti Tuisku's newly founded ski club, AT Ski Team, is seeking to expand its operations, particularly by strengthening its women's representative team.
Antti Tuisku, a prominent Finnish artist, has established a ski club named AT Ski Team, which aims to enhance its activities and particularly bolster its women's representative team ahead of the 2024 season. The club's mission is to support promising Finnish athletes in their journey toward national and international excellence, and it is driven by a desire to inject fresh energy into Finnish skiing, making the sport more appealing to a wider audience.
In a statement, Tuisku expressed his inspiration from the team's growth and emphasized the importance of providing new opportunities for athletes to pursue their dreams. Currently, the women's representative team comprises five talented skiers: Eveliina Toivanen, Emmi Lämsä, Olivia Puranen, Emmi Henriksson, and Vilma Jylhä. Tuisku will continue his role as the team captain and plans to remain actively involved in the club's development, ensuring that they have the guidance and resources needed to flourish in the competitive skiing landscape.
Reijo Jylhä, who is also known for his work with the Finnish national team, will lead the coaching efforts for AT Ski Team. The establishment and expansion of this club signal a growing commitment to nurturing local talent in Finland's winter sports and highlight the collaborative efforts to enhance the country's representation in skiing across multiple levels.
