Tuttofood is launching the international food manifesto
Italy is positioning itself to lead global food sectors toward a more sustainable, inclusive, and transparent system with a universal and conscious access to food as a value rather than a mere commodity.
Italy is attempting to take the helm in guiding global food supply chains towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and transparent system, focusing on universal and conscious access to food. This approach envisions food not merely as a commodity but as a fundamental good essential for individual and social well-being, and as a cultural tool for universal dialogue. The Food Manifesto was presented at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty during a press conference dedicated to the 2026 edition of Tuttofood Milano.
The manifesto serves as a guiding document for the global food community, showcasing Italy's commitment to promoting its cultural cuisine, especially following the recognition of Italian Cooking by UNESCO. Fiere di Parma is set to share this manifesto with important international players in the Food & Beverage sector during the Tuttofood event, which will take place from May 11 to May 14 in Rho Fiera Milano, featuring more than 200 high-level events and representation from 80 countries, including numerous Trade Promotion Organizations (TPO).
As a significant platform for the food industry, Tuttofood will gather key stakeholders to discuss, collaborate, and propel the initiative outlined in the Food Manifesto. The initiative is expected to foster a dialogue that emphasizes the value of food beyond trade, aiming to unite diverse sectors of the food industry around shared goals of sustainability and cultural appreciation, thereby enhancing Italy's role on the global stage of food innovation and policy.
