Yoon Young-dal elected as new president of the Professional Billiards Association (PBA)
Yoon Young-dal has been elected president of the Professional Billiards Association (PBA), succeeding Kim Young-soo.
Yoon Young-dal, the chairman of Crown Haitai, has been elected as the new president of the Professional Billiards Association (PBA) at a board meeting held on the 17th, with the announcement made on the 18th. His term will run for three years until March 2029. The PBA stated their confidence in Yoon's capabilities, emphasizing his deep affection for billiards since the inception of the pro billiards scene and his experience in operating the Crown Haitai Raon billiards team.
In addition to his role in the PBA, Yoon has been active in supporting cultural and artistic endeavors through his leadership in the Korea Mecenat Association. His vision includes expanding the fan base for professional billiards, enhancing global competitiveness, and fostering international exchanges. He takes over from previous president Kim Young-soo, who laid the groundwork for the PBA's success during his two consecutive terms.
The inauguration ceremony for the incoming president will be held on the 10th of next month at the PBA Stadium in KINTEX, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do. On the same day, the PBA also held the 'Hana Card PBA Golden Cue Awards 2026' where outstanding athletes such as Daniel Sanchez and Kim Ga-young received awards, and several other honors were distributed recognizing exceptional performances throughout the season.
