Rock in Rio announces 13 new attractions, including Rise Against and Bad Omens in the lineup

Rock in Rio announced the addition of 13 new acts for its September festival, featuring artists like Rise Against and Bad Omens.

Rock in Rio has expanded its lineup with 13 new attractions for the World and Sunset stages, set to take place on September 4 and 5. The World stage will see the debut performances of bands such as Rise Against, The Hives, and Nova Twins on September 4, followed by pop-punk star Machine Gun Kelly and the Brazilian metal band Sepultura on September 5.

On the Sunset stage, September 4 will feature Capital Inicial and Dado Villa-Lobos in a tribute to Renato Russo, alongside British duo Hot Milk and Brazilian rock bands Detonautas and Di Ferrero, who will revisit significant hits from the Brazilian rock scene. The following day will highlight Bad Omens as the headliner, along with Poppy, Black Pantera, Nervosa, and Malvada, with Day Limns kicking off the performances.

The festival's announcement reflects its commitment to a diverse lineup that merges local and international artists, catering to a broad audience.
