New South Wales police have released CCTV footage of three men they wish to question regarding the alleged kidnapping and murder of Chris Baghsarian in Sydney.
New South Wales police are intensifying their investigation into the kidnapping and subsequent murder of 85-year-old Chris Baghsarian by releasing CCTV footage of three men who might have been involved. Baghsarian was allegedly taken from his home in North Ryde on February 13, 2023, in a tragic case of mistaken identity. Following his abduction, it is believed his body was subsequently dumped near a Pitt Town golf club, with the discovery of remains occurring more than a week later on February 24.
The police have already charged two individuals, Daniel Stevens and Gerard Andrews, in connection with the case, accusing them of murder and improper detention with intent to ransom. The release of the CCTV footage is part of a public appeal aimed at gathering more information, as investigators work to construct a complete picture of the events leading up to Baghsarian's kidnapping. The footage captures three individuals approaching the alleged stronghold of the kidnappers located in Dural, north-western Sydney, on the night of Baghsarian's disappearance.
Additionally, further CCTV from the next day reveals a distinctive blue Hyundai sedan linked to the incident, which can be seen arriving and departing from the Dural location shortly after noon. The release of this footage is aimed at not only raising awareness about the case but also encouraging potential witnesses to come forward, underscoring the police's commitment to resolving this tragic incident and bringing all responsible parties to justice.
