Three men lost their lives in a confrontation with the Tactical Force police on Tuesday morning (17) in Coxim, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Police responded to reports of gunfire in the area, which is notorious for clashes between criminal factions such as the First Command of the Capital (PCC) and the Red Command (CV). Upon their arrival, the officers encountered armed suspects who allegedly resisted arrest, prompting a violent exchange.

According to the police report, tactical teams were summoned through emergency calls, leading to a strategic response where reinforcements were requested due to the likelihood of suspects fleeing. Upon the arrival of additional tactical officers, the police attempted communication with the suspects inside the property. However, a male suspect exited the back of the house armed and opened fire on the officers, who returned fire and shot him.

Following this, two other men fled inside the house, prompting the police to enter the property. The records indicate that the officers confronted a second armed suspect who pointed his weapon at them. This ongoing violence underscores the serious implications of gang warfare in the region, raising concerns about public safety and police engagement in areas dominated by organized crime.
