The first draw of the Nota Fiscal Cidadã program for 2026 awarded R$ 2 million in prizes to consumers and social institutions in honor of International Women's Day.

The Nota Fiscal Cidadã (NFC) program in Alagoas, Brazil, conducted its first draw of the year 2026, distributing a total of R$ 2 million in prizes. This special edition, celebrated in light of International Women's Day, aimed to draw attention to the importance of fiscal citizenship and social contribution from consumer purchases. A total of 330,427 tickets were generated from receipts submitted with CPF numbers, highlighting the community’s engagement in the program.

Consumer participation reached 100,530 individuals, with 66,191 opting to share their receipts to support social institutions, culminating in 133,298 tickets allocated for these entities. Furthermore, 127 social institutions were actively involved in the lottery, collectively generating 32,095 tickets from consumer contributions. The receipts that qualified for the draw were those issued between November 1 and December 31, 2025, demonstrating the ongoing commitment of both consumers and institutions to the goals of the NFC program.

The draw reflects not only a financial incentive for participants but also fosters a sense of community investment, as organizations benefit directly from consumers’ engagement. This initiative encourages social responsibility and enhances the visibility of social institutions, aligning with the broader goals of social welfare and economic support in Brazil. The lottery's structure promotes awareness around the significance of fiscal practices while also celebrating women's contributions through the special timing of the event.
