Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has officially launched a new portrait to mark the beginning of his second term in office. This announcement was made via his Facebook page, where he encouraged all offices, both public and private, to replace the old portrait used during his first term. He highlighted the importance of adhering to this update by urging all governmental and non-governmental institutions to act accordingly.
During the unveiling, Soludo emphasized that the new portrait was captured by his official photographer and is set to take immediate effect. He clarified that this portrait supersedes any previous ones, signifying a fresh start as he embarks on his next term. This move not only showcases the governor's renewed leadership but also aims to standardize representation across various offices throughout Anambra State.
On the day of the portrait's unveiling, which coincided with his inauguration ceremony, Soludo was sworn in while accompanied by his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim. The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Judge of the State, which adds to the formal and significant nature of this transition for the governor and his administration, as they embark on their next phase of service to the people of Anambra.
