Oborevwori unveils Delta road to boost local economy

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has inaugurated the newly reconstructed 31-kilometre Ohoror–Bomadi Road, emphasizing its significance in promoting economic activities and improving connectivity for riverine communities. He highlighted the administration's commitment to ensuring that all parts of the state, especially historically underserved areas, benefit from development projects.

During the commissioning ceremony, Oborevwori noted that the new road links multiple local government areas including Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Patani, Burutu, and Bomadi. He stated that this development would drastically cut down travel time and facilitate the movement of people and goods. The governor expressed optimism that this infrastructure would unlock new economic opportunities for the residents, enhancing their quality of life and economic prospects.
