The municipal government of Piracicaba, São Paulo, is engaging the community through a public consultation launched on Monday, aimed at gathering feedback on the revitalization project for Avenida Beira Rio and the waterfront of Rua do Porto. This initiative is part of the ambitious Parque Linear Vila Porto project, which focuses on reorganizing pedestrian traffic, enhancing accessibility, and upgrading infrastructure in the area.

The proposed project involves significant landscaping improvements and plans for the construction of a cable-stayed bridge, alongside the installation of a mist cooling system. This undertaking not only aims to improve the aesthetic appeal of the area but is also designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors by making the spaces more user-friendly and environmentally friendly.
