The Fire Festival, which celebrates the Iranian New Year Norooz, has been called off in major Swedish cities Stockholm and Gothenburg. This decision comes in light of a rising threat level against exiled Iranians amidst the ongoing conflict in Iran. Dritëro Kasapi, the theater director at Riksteatern, stated that the decision was not easy, reflecting the challenging realities faced by the Iranian-Swedish community.
