'I will decide on the next strategy soon', said KC Tyagi after leaving JDU

Senior JDU leader KC Tyagi has announced his departure from the party and plans to decide his next steps after consultations with political associates.

KC Tyagi, a senior leader of the Janata Dal (United), publicly confirmed that he has left the party during an event in New Delhi. Having been a part of JDU since its inception in October 2003, Tyagi has held several significant positions, including General Secretary and Political Advisor. His departure marks a notable shift in the party's dynamics, as Tyagi has been a long-time associate of party leader Nitish Kumar, with whom he has shared a political journey for nearly five decades.

In his statement, Tyagi indicated that he would not be renewing his membership in the party, mentioning that the membership campaign had concluded. Despite his departure, he emphasized that his commitment to advocating for the poor, farmers, and marginalized communities remains unchanged. His decision underscores a transition not just for him but potentially for the party as well, raising questions about its internal cohesion and future direction.

Tyagi has stated that he will consult with his political allies, supporters, and workers to determine his next strategic steps. This development may suggest an impending realignment within regional politics, potentially influencing both JDU's strategies and the broader political landscape in which it operates, as well as Tyagi's future role in Indian politics.
