Larijani and Soleimani. Israel claims to have killed more key figures of the Iranian regime. They were involved in the brutal suppression of protests

Israel claims to have assassinated two key Iranian officials, Larijani and Soleimani, who were implicated in the suppression of protests amidst ongoing regional tensions.

Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, first reported the death of Larijani, a critical figure within the Iranian government since the early phases of conflict following Israel's targeting of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Reports emerged of Israeli military strikes in Tehran that allegedly led to the death of Golamreza Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Basij militia, known for its role in suppressing dissent. Despite these claims, Iran has not confirmed the deaths of either Larijani or Soleimani. Should Larijani's death be verified, the total number of senior Iranian officials reportedly killed by Israeli forces since the onset of the conflict could rise to ten, highlighting the escalating violence and counteractions between Israel and Iran. In parallel, the United States has announced a reward of $10 million for information leading to the capture of Iranian officials, including Larijani and Mojtaba Khamenei. As these developments unfold, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also conveyed messages to the Iranian leadership, suggesting ongoing diplomatic and military entanglements in the region.
