International Humor Salon of Piracicaba will have its 1st woman president in over half a century of existence

The 53rd edition of the International Humor Salon of Piracicaba (SIHP) marks a significant milestone as it will be presided over by a woman, Synnöve Hilkner, for the first time in over fifty years. Hilkner, a Finnish artist and caricaturist, was announced for the position on October 16. This event is renowned for its focus on humor and artistic expression, and the inclusion of a female president highlights the evolving nature of the artistic community's leadership roles.

Synnöve Hilkner graduated in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas and is an internationally recognized figure for her 3D caricature sculptures.
