Known for her innovative fusion of spoken word, performance, and experimental club sounds, Davidson has garnered international recognition for her work. She rose to prominence with her 2016 album "Adieux au dancefloor," which was highly acclaimed by critics and featured on Pitchfork's list of the best electronic albums of the year.

In 2018, her album "Working Class Woman," released under the Ninja Tune label, was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize, further solidifying her standing in the electronic music scene. The lead single from this album, "Work It," received a remix from the electronic music collective Soulwax, becoming one of the year's biggest dance tracks. Additionally, Davidson is a member of the minimal wave duo Essaie Pas, whose album "Demain est une autre nuit" also found its way onto the Polaris Music Prize nominee list.

Davidson's most recent studio album, "City of Clowns," was released in 2025 by the Deewee label and draws inspiration from Shoshana Zuboff's book "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism."
