Fukuoka’s Official Land Prices Continue to Rise for 12th Consecutive Year, Popularity of Luxury Housing Remains

Fukuoka's official land prices have risen for twelve consecutive years, with a shrinking growth rate but continued demand for high-end housing.

The announcement made on January 17 regarding the official land prices in Fukuoka Prefecture reveals a consistent increase for twelve consecutive years across all land uses, despite a slight decline in the growth rate. The residential land prices have surged by 3.7%, a reduction of 1.2 percentage points from the previous year, placing Fukuoka fourth nationwide in residential land growth. Out of the 918 surveyed locations, about 85% showed an increase in value, while only 6% remained stable and 9% registered a decline. The central area of Ohori in Fukuoka City ranked as one of the highest at ¥1.49 million per square meter.
