As of the latest updates, 11 suspects have been arrested. The police have been executing a total of 28 preventive arrest warrants targeting individuals associated with the gang's drug trade in the area.

One of the significant figures sought in this operation is Wilton Carlos Rabello Quintanilha, also known as Abelha, who is considered a leader within the CV and was already wanted for previous crimes. The operation is spearheaded by the Special Division for Captures and Interstate Police (DC-Polinter), and includes elite units such as the Special Operations Police Battalion (Bope) and the Core Special Resources Coordination (Core). The targeted individuals had been denounced by the Specialized Group for the Fight against Organized Crime of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio de Janeiro (Gaeco/MPRJ), indicating a systematic approach to disrupting the drug trafficking networks in the region.
