China's recently concluded National Two Sessions have officially launched the 15th Five-Year Plan, outlining major development goals and indicators for the next five years.
The National Two Sessions of China culminated in the successful conclusion of its main legislative and political advisory meetings on March 12, 2026. During these sessions, the "Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic, Social, and National Development of the People's Republic of China" was approved, marking the official commencement of China’s 15th Five-Year Period. The plan features more than 70,000 Chinese characters and sets out 20 key indicators along with 16 major goals to build a 'Strong Nation'. This blueprint not only focuses on domestic development but also seeks to showcase China's unique governance model to the world amid a turbulent international climate.
