A 23-year-old man is appearing before a Thessaloniki investigator today in relation to the murder of a 20-year-old in Kalamaria last Thursday night. He faces charges of intentional homicide, illegal possession of a weapon, and use of a weapon. The suspect surrendered to the authorities the day after the violent incident, admitting that he fatally injured the victim.

In his defense, the young man claimed he was attacked unprovoked by at least three unknown individuals outside his home.
