On March 16, India expressed its strong condemnation of the Pakistani airstrike on the Omid Addiction Treatment Center in Kabul, which resulted in a significant loss of civilian lives. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India described the assault as a brutal, cowardly, and inhumane act, emphasizing that the facility was a civilian center and should never have been regarded as a military target. India's response highlighted the grave consequences of such actions on innocent civilians.
