During the Lithuanian-Czech Business Forum, President Gitanas Nausėda articulated Lithuania's intention to strengthen its ties with the Czech Republic, viewing it as a strategic partner with vast potential for mutual benefits. Nausėda stressed Lithuania's appealing business environment, characterized by efficiency and minimal bureaucracy, which he believes can significantly enhance cooperation between the two nations.
The forum, attended by both Nausėda and Czech President Petr Pavel, facilitated discussions on various opportunities for industrial and technological collaboration. A notable outcome of this forum was the signing of three cooperation agreements focusing on critical areas such as laser and photonics research, defense and security sectors, as well as life sciences and biotechnology. These agreements are positioned to foster growth and development in these innovative fields.
