Boy George to Compete for San Marino at Eurovision

English musician Boy George will represent San Marino at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest alongside Senhit.

At this year's 70th Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Vienna, renowned English musician Boy George is set to represent San Marino alongside the Italian singer Senhit. The pair will perform a song titled 'Superstar.' This collaboration is particularly notable as Senhit has previously participated in Eurovision twice and is excited to work with Boy George, a celebrated figure from the 1980s known for his band Culture Club. Although Boy George did not perform live during the San Marino selection, he confirmed his participation in Vienna, as stated by Senhit in an interview with San Marino's RTV. Senhit elaborated that she plans to travel to Las Vegas next week to meet with Boy George and start preparations for their stage performance. Furthermore, they will also be releasing a music video for 'Superstar,' which is expected to debut on April 18. Senhit's previous Eurovision entry in 2021 with the song 'Adrenalina,' where she collaborated with Flo Rida, placed 22nd. With the current collaborative effort featuring Boy George, expectations are high, and many will be watching how San Marino's act unfolds in the competition, particularly given the weight of both artists' legacies in the music industry.
