The incident occurred at kilometer 759 of BR-364, highlighting ongoing concerns about illegal firearms trafficking in the region. During the inspection, when questioned by the officers, a passenger initially claimed he was only carrying a backpack. However, upon searching the bus's cargo compartment, the officers discovered a significant number of firearms concealed within the stored luggage.
