Firefighters in Campo Grande successfully delivered a baby in their vehicle during an emergency situation.

Early on Monday, November 16, an emotional incident unfolded for a team of Firefighters from the 6th Battalion in Campo Grande, Brazil. They received an emergency call around 4:50 AM regarding an obstetric emergency involving a pregnant woman in the Tiradentes neighborhood. Upon arrival, they found the expectant mother at her home, ready for transport to the hospital.

As the firefighters placed the mother into their vehicle for the journey, she unexpectedly began experiencing intense contractions. Unfortunately, the baby did not wait for the hospital; the delivery occurred right in the back of the fire truck. Firefighters Tiago da Silva Ferreira and Christopher de Oliveira Alves successfully assisted in the birthing process.

The baby girl, who weighed approximately 2.9 kilograms, was reported to be healthy. This remarkable event highlights the dedication and quick response of emergency services, ultimately leading to a safe delivery despite the challenging circumstances.
